Few months back I came across the biggest commotion in my life. Does an introvert misses on the biggest opportunities in life?

Is networking the key to success?? I am an introvert and these questions are critical to all of us, who feel socializing can make “YOU” the “BETTER YOU”.

Let me help you with some of my research.

Introversion is not shyness

First of all, let us form a clear picture. Being an introvert doesn’t mean being shy.

While shyness is a fear of social judgement, introversion implies being content with your solitude.

Be yourself, stay confident and don’t pay a little heed to the naysayers, this what will make you the real INTROVERT. While extroverts tend to learn by socializing, introverts learn by personal analysis. THEY TEND TO KNOW MORE, AND PRETEND LESS.

Introverts are happy too

The most common misconception about introverts is that they are sad 🙁 . You must have heard some extroverts, feeling pity on you and your isolation, and offering you a sympathetic hand wave.

But believe me, introverts are the happiest people when they are alone. They exactly know how to utilize time for the activities they are bent to do.

Success Ratio of Introverts

Here comes the most intriguing part. Is socializing the key to success??

So here is a list of most successful introverts and extroverts

Introverts

  1. Mark Zuckerberg
  2. Larry Page
  3. Bill Gates
  4. Charles Darwin
  5. Elan Musk

Extroverts

  2. Muhammad Ali
  3. Steve Jobs
  4. Winston Churchill
  5. George W. Bush

So it appears lucid here that, being an introvert or extrovert doesn’t imply success. Your determination implies so.

An introvert can also be a great speaker during an influential seminar. It’s just the best time when introverts love to socialize. While extroverts have an edge over certain professions ,that involve socializing, like Politician,Reporter etc.

Introverts are creative

Introverts tend to process things very thoroughly and creatively. They accomplish little tasks in the best way and to the best potential. Also they love exploring their inner potentials and hence unleashing creativity.

While extroverts works better in energized environments, as they usually transmits their energy and spirit to the fellow workers

Introverts are not absent minded, they are mindful

Be an Ambivert

An Ambivert is a person who is both introvert and extrovert. They are not too outgoing like the extroverts and not too deep like an introvert.

Ambiversion is a combination of networking and thoughtfulness. Ambiverts have a small social group of curious people with a tinge of experiment added to it. It means they like to socialize, but with a limited few. The leftover is spend being contended with themselves.
